Dr. Wendy Camp
Dr. Wendy Camp was born in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Greensboro when she was eight years old. She graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and practiced in a mixed animal practice in Louisburg, NC for 3 years, where she had many adventures working on cats, dogs, ostriches, pigs, goats, horses, donkeys, cows, and chickens. In 1994, she moved back to Greensboro to start a family and became a partner at Friendly Animal Clinic, where she worked for 25 years. She has a litter of her own of 5 sons and 3 stepsons, along with 5 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses, 3 mischievous goats and about 20 chickens. In October, 2019, she was thrilled to purchase Northwest Animal Hospital, just minutes from her home, closer to her beloved family and menagerie! She enjoys time with family and any outdoor activities including horse-back riding and kayaking.

Megan has just recently started her career as a veterinary technician here at NWAH. She joined the team hoping to provide the same love and compassion to our local animals as her own, a German Shepard named Reuger, has shown her. She grew up on a local farm completely infatuated by the time & patience it requires to gain an animal's trust. "The love that they give back, is unlike any other."
Marmalade is NWAH's very own team mascot. You may often find her lounging about in her favorite sunspots inside the clinic, or squeaking around for attention amongst her select favorite staff members. She has been a member of Dr. Camp's family ever since she was found as a stray nine years ago, and now spends all her time at the clinic where she seems happiest around her animal pals.
